Scott Buckley

President

Scott serves as President of Green Lantern Solar, having been the Vice President of Finance for three years prior. In addition to his deep solar experience, he brings years of expertise in Brownfield redevelopment, environmental remediation, real estate development, management and investing from his time as the General Manager of ENPRO and CEO of KW Vermont. He has a professional graduate certificate in Real Estate Investing from Harvard, and holds a Bachelors degree from Middlebury College and a Masters degree from Harvard.

Jody Schroeder

Chief Financial Officer

Jody serves as Chief Financial Officer for Green Lantern Solar. Prior to joining the Green Lantern Team, she worked 13 years as the Comptroller/ Accounting Manager with iTech US, Inc. She has 18+ years of finance/accounting experience (7 of which were in the Atlanta, GA area where she volunteered for the 1996 Olympic Field Hockey venue). Jody earned a B.S. in Business, with a concentration in HR Management, from the University of Vermont while playing four years on the Varsity Field Hockey team and currently still holding field hockey records at the university.

David Carpenter, Esq.

VP of Development & Chief Legal Officer

Dave serves as Vice President of Development and Chief Legal Officer for Green Lantern Solar. Prior to joining Green Lantern Solar, Dave served as Associate General Counsel at Casella Waste Systems, Inc. (2007-2012) where he was lead inside counsel on environmental and renewable energy matters. Dave also worked in private practice at firms in New York, Massachusetts and Vermont, where he represented Green Lantern Solar for nearly five years and represented clients in transactional, zoning, land use, brownfield and site remediation matters. Dave earned his J.D and M.S.E.L from Vermont Law School in 1997 and is a 1990 graduate of Penn State University. Dave is a past co-chair of Renewable Energy Vermont’s Legislative & Policy Committee and a former Member of the Vermont Bar Association’s Board of Managers, and is in his second year as a guest lecturer for the University of Vermont’s Sustainable Innovation MBA program. Dave is also a Firefighter, Training Officer and the Chairman of the Orwell Volunteer Fire Department; and has been a soccer coach for the Orwell-Benson Coyotes and Middlebury Union Middle School Tigers. Dave also served as a Member of the Slate Valley Unified School District Board.

Alan Pratt

VP of Operations

As VP of Operations for Green Lantern Solar, Alan manages the engineering, permitting and construction cycle for all of our projects, from bidding through completion, while maintaining industry-leading Quality Assurance and safety standards. Alan has been involved in wind and solar renewables for 15 years participating in projects across Vermont.

Luke Shullenberger

Founder

Luke is the principal founder and Managing Partner of Green Lantern Solar. He is an entrepreneurial development professional with 20 years of experience in retail development, mixed-use commercial real-estate, clean-tech/renewables and brownfields redevelopment. Luke’s areas of expertise and focus are emerging energy technologies, sustainable development practices, project finance strategy, and public policy. Prior to Green Lantern Capital, Luke was a founder and President of real-estate development and asset-management firms Pinnacle Development Group and Greenergy Development. Luke has a B.A. in History with a concentration in Environmental Studies and Economics from Williams College.

Bill Miller, Ph. D

Founder

Bill is a founder of Green Lantern Solar. He has over 30 years of experience in finance, including 20 years as CFO and VP of Finance in the financial services, construction, development and manufacturing sectors. Bill has conducted complex financial modeling for a wide variety of real-estate and development projects, and has domain expertise in financing, funding, grant and tax credit strategies. In addition to his work with Green Lantern Solar, he regularly consults with community groups and local government agencies on development and budget issues. Bill has a B.A. from UCLA and a Ph.D. from the University of Michigan.
