Dave Serves as Vice President of Development and Chief Legal Officer for Green Lantern Solar. Prior to joining Green Lantern Solar, Dave served as Associate General Counsel at Casella Waste Systems, Inc. (2007-2012) where he was lead inside counsel on environmental and renewable energy matters. Dave also worked in private practice at firms in New York, Massachusetts and Vermont, where he represented Green Lantern Solar for nearly five years and represented clients in transactional, zoning, land use, brownfield and site remediation matters. Dave earned his J.D and M.S.E.L from Vermont Law School in 1997 and is a 1990 graduate of Penn State University. Dave is a past co-chair of Renewable Energy Vermont’s Legislative & Policy Committee and a former Member of the Vermont Bar Association’s Board of Managers, and is in his second year as a guest lecturer for the University of Vermont’s Sustainable Innovation MBA program. Dave is also a Firefighter, Training Officer and the Chairman of the Orwell Volunteer Fire Department; and has been a soccer coach for the Orwell-Benson Coyotes and Middlebury Union Middle School Tigers. Dave also served as a Member of the Slate Valley Unified School District Board.
